1.Introduction of HXGT8 Series RMU
HXGT8 Series RMU absorbs the advantages of other RMUs and compensates their weaknesses in order to satisfy requirements of city and rural grid construction and transformation. The bus room equipped with FT8-12(FR) vacuum load switch+fuse combination electrical equipment and the load switch room is separated by earthing metal partition board, and omits insulationnplugboard and corresponding interlocking device, needed by other RMUs. The fixed box equipped with VT2A type vacuum circuit breaker is used as circuit protection, it is a replenishment of RMU once wiring scheme.

3.Feature And Application of HXGT8 Series RMU
a. Busbar room of RMU and cable room are divided into two rooms with the metal chassis of load switch. it’s no need to insert one insulating barrier in isolating distance.
b. Vacuum arc-extinguishing chamber is located in the insulation bushing to prevent dust accumulating on the surface and arc-extinguishing chamber from damage of unexpected external force.
c. Live parts of load switch on each phase is supported by single insulation bushing, therefore the structure is simple and compact.
d. The interlock is reliable and it is convenient to operate.
e. Possess manual and motor-driven operation and small operating force.
 f. Operate disconnector and earthing switch through the same hole.
g. Multiple schemes for choice, convenient for RMU extension and combination, income and outgoing line cabinet can be circuit breaker cabinet with protection function.

h.RMU can be mounted against wall.

4.Details of HXGT8 Series RMU
Service condition
(1) Altitude: Not more than 3000m above the sea level.
(2) Ambient temperature: Max: +40C, Min: -40"C.
(3) Relative humidity: Daily average is not more than95%, monthly average is not more than 90%.
(4) No apparent pollution of corrosive or combustible gas around, Seismic intensity is not more than eight class.
(5) No regular violent vibration, Seismic intensity is not more than eight class.

Note: if deviation of normal service conditions occurs, the customer can negotiate with the manufacturer.
